I’ve installed a 24V CCT led strip with a E2-ZR controller and K0 remote. Led strip is 3m for a 18W/m power so I am way far from the max 12A of the controller.
Just after installation I noticed that when the controller is operated in single colour mode with CW only, the maximum brightness is way higher compared to double colour mode, CCT set to CW only.
Using a meter on the smartphone I measured at max brightness in single colour and dual colour 809 vs 446 luxm it’s quite the difference.
Why is that and are ther workarounds to it?
Googling around I found other kind of controllers that when set to dual colour it splits the max amperage draw 50-50 on the two channels regardless if the colour is 100% CW.
Is this the case with the E2-ZR too?
